My Winter Maiden

My Winter Maiden

A Poem by Ken
"

Just a poem I wrote after a break up. Nothing big, and special.

"
My winter maiden

Shimmering so bright,

Like diamonds,

Such a beautiful sight.

A sight unmatched

By all who breath.

A sight impossible

To believe.

With hair so golden,

Stars be jealous.

With skin so soft,

Silk is obsolete.

Shall you be with me?

My silk soft beauty,

For a passion to you

I hold eternally.

All I want,

Is to hold your hand,

Kiss you softly,

Your wish is my command.

Fulfill my wants,

I'll satisfy your need

For pure love

In perfect harmony.

Harmony you shall have

My Snow Queen,

All is given to you

That you don't leave me.

You, my only wish,

You expected more

Then me,

A simple peasant boy.

Royalty you are,

Peasant I am.

Does it even matter

Our status in this land?

Take my hand,

I'll show you what could be

If only you

Would pick me.

So please don't leave me

Out in the cold,

To drown in the snow,

To never truelly know.

Of a beautiful love

That was never to be,

For how could you love

A beast like me?

I loved this stanza, this is a tugger of a write,
so emotional and wonderfully written!
