Fractured Reality

Fractured Reality

A Poem by The High Poet
"

Something chaotic from a chaotic brain

"

Fractured Reality

A crack is forming in my reality,
I fear I’m losing my final sanity.
I look around and the world’s skewed tight:
The days are charcoal, and the sun is night.

Oh, please let this be a fever dream,
Something quiet, something serene.
But darkness anchors every thought,
In the fevered skin of a man who's caught.

I tell myself this must be hell,
A mind locked inside a broken shell.
Or maybe this is just who I am"
Drowning in a life I can’t understand.
