An Epic of Pants

An Epic of Pants

A Poem by thebigtrippie
"

journey of a pair of pants

"

Old man, new pants
Tending to his land
His new pants gradually became tanned
Every day he’d flip a quarter
Hoping his days would become shorter
After his last day
His beaten pants were sold away
New man, old pants
In a hidden pocket,
He found a linty quarter
Heads up he flipped it once
To see if he should buy a soda for his brother

I love the rhythm of this, it’s very fun to read. I like “every day he’d flip a quarter, hoping his days would become shorter.”
