The Velvet Knight

The Velvet Knight

A Poem by thebigtrippie
"

Untapped potential

"
A coward knight forged
He familiarized himself with sunlight and trees,
Beautiful flowers and bees,
But his fantasy he created
Had to be decimated
He was built to protect,
Yet soft and cordial he stood, wishing he could
Figure himself out,
Slashing at his mind,
Forming wounds of self-doubt
Wanting to find a purpose,
He forgets who he was
The knight was too weak to fight
But too strong to give up
Running away is easy,
But you can't run away from your own suit
For the velvet knight was strong enough to have it all,
But to weak to take it
