Unpopular Opinion.

Random thought.

I do not believe life has to come to a natural end.
We did not sign up for this life.
It was not a choice, but something that was assigned.
Why should we have to wait for cancer, or a car crash?
Does that not seem silly to anyone else?

I am in no hurry to die, but I will not wait for death to claim me.
Just because we're still breathing, does not mean life is still happening.

How do you know we didn't come into this game choosing to accept certain burdens, ailments and disadvantages? What do any of us remember about pre-birth?
Consciousness does precede physical form.
In any event, your poem is fascinating and that last line certainly rings true.

Very well said. I agree totally. It makes me sick that some are afraid of life and won't allow themselves the wonderful opportunities that a real life offers. I won't allow the possibility of death to rule me either.
