So Much Less

The sun still came up today

It knows what it has to do
Although it is still shinning
The sun is dimmed inside
I can still feel it's warmth
But it's so much less without you

Tonight the stars are shinning brightly dimmed
They just don't know what else to do
Although they still make me wonder
I just don't care to reach on out
And yes they still hold mystery
But it's so much less without you

The world keeps on turning
It knows what it is expected to do
Life just keeps running along
Guess there is no point in standing still
Miracles are still happening before my eyes
But it's so much less without you

So now I am alone again
Just like I always seem to be
I have lived without you before
It is gonna take time to recover
But I guess I can live without you again
It is just all so much less without you

I am just so much less without you
I don't think I have ever been this lost
All the signs that used to guide me
They now read 'no vacancies'
I can't find reason or meaning anywhere

Everything is just so much less without you

But I will not let you break me
I will find the strength to stand again
Just like I have always done before
There may not be much left to believe in now
But I will hang on just a little while longer
I just wanted you to know that I am so much less without you

You should have a lot of confidence!! Your works are absolutely amazing and each one I read gets better and better. Lol and I like anonymity, I'm not sure why... hence my alias and fake pic lol.
And your right, words run deeper than physical appearance, for words come from the artists heart and soul I believe.

That is very kind of you to say, There are some amazing writers on here. I look at Andrea Gibson, Buddy Wakefield and especially Daniel Beaty and just wish I had their gift. You tube them if you have not heard of them. Daniel Beaty's Knock Knock is mind blowing!
