The Game of Life
The world never stops turning
Yet you stand still
Life is a room full of people,
So why hide in the corner
Go say hello to the world
There are over a billion souls on earth
Why stick to the same old crowd
Just Imagine the potential
if even only half of those gave you an opportunity
If even only 1% like the real you, that’s 10 million true friends
Strangers question who you are, thus challenging.
Friends just confirm who you are, thus restricting.
If you expect everything then you limit what you receive
Because you will only receive what you have conceived
If you expect nothing then you receive everything
Because in nothingness is everything not yet conceived
You can blame life for everything you don’t like or want
You can search the whole world for change
But only acceptance and action will initiate the shift
Because you are your life
Do you ever wonder what happened to that child,
The child who dared to dream
The child who knew no limits
Where did that child go
who kidnapped the person you dreamed to be
Who stole from you your desires, dreams and potential
How many structures have you allowed fear to erode
That leave you now standing in the ruins of the life you long to live
So that now you no longer try to live, you no longer dare to dream.
You just stand still or walk in endless circles blaming god or life
Where you now watch
But never play
Where you wonder
But never try
Were you crave change
But never move
Where you wait and prey for the external to change the internal
But in truth know that only the internal can change the external
There is no magic touch
Just a simple choice
To change
To risk
To try
To sing
To laugh
To play
..............To live.
