My Tribute to Godzilla

A Poem by J. Land

In a complete departure from my normal fare, I wrote these in response to the latest film iteration of the Japanese giant, Godzilla. Just for fun.

"

Senyu

Knocking down buildings
Is just your way of saying
"I love you, humans."

Haiku

Godzilla, kaiju
Show the folly of shooting
Capguns at Titans.

Tanka

Gojira, wake up.
MURTOS' romance makes cities
Crumble easily,
And my travel plans include
Honolulu this summer
