Little did I know how little I knew

In my youthful hormonal obsession

Misplaced against the arbitrary milieu

Of teenage perennial dispossession

Stripped of innocence

Overcome by penance...

"Stripped of innocence,overcome by penance"... yes as a youth we try to conform to the ways of the world,seeking worldly pleasure and appreciation."Little did i know" - i was leading towards my death.Such a deep spiritual piece of work.I wish the youth could get this message of life.Wonderful.The last two lines gave me food for thought. Thanks for sharing this insightful poem :)

You start off with a tongue and mind twister that is quite delightful.. I giggled, I pondered, and I nodded in appreciation. We think we know it all, until we grow up and finally realized we really knew nothing at all.. While this is short it has depth. It is told in such a creative, rich way that it is not only meaningful, it is entertaining.. awesome job, I really enjoyed this...
