I Need Someone To Disagree

I need someone to disagree and show me a new perspective

I wake up every single day
With the same story, in the same way
I do things again and again
And think so often that I'd never forget

Through time these thoughts have grown
I can hardly even believe they're my own
I've built them so big and tall to stand
That even I struggle to understand

I'm tired of everyone who agrees
With my visions of sad reality
Not a trace of advice they leave
Except pathetic sympathy

I need someone to disagree
To show something new to me
To inspire and change the way I live
And teach me a new perspective
