How can I explain what I learnt in a lifetime
Within a few sentences and moments in time?
How can I express the feelings and pain
That have healed and wounded again?
How can I tell the story
Of that moment, that person that changed my everything?
How can I tell the world how to live
When I am just surviving myself?

How can I teach
When I don't even know me?
How can I fight
When I don't know who my enemy is?
How can I change the world
When the world is changing me?
How can I lead nations
When I am lost, trying to break free

But I should not worry
That I will not be enough
For any sort of effort
Will be better than none
Bit by bit, contributing every day
I can start to change the world
And so can you
