Butterfly

Butterfly cadence
steady wing-beat
butterfly floating
Defying Defeat
Fragile butterfly
Or so it seems
Meek butterfly
Floating above streams

but i do believe
This fluttering beauty
Is more than it seems

Strong butterfly
Against the storm
Determined butterfly
To cocoon from worm
And unknowing butterfly
as it flaps
And tornadoes strong out
across the maps

Wise butterfly
Ceases flight
Theoretical butterfly
disappearing into night.
