Reesie gave us both pretty silver bracelets with red beads on them. She said the beads were coral. I looked it up when I got home. Apparently magick users gift coral to children sometimes to ensure good health and protection from all sorts of nasties. I wonder what she thinks we need protection from?
She did look really worried when she dropped us off, and dad seemed really annoyed when her and Mom started talking.
