The direction of my road to recovery.

"
What
I seek
No government
Land or man
Can give.
 
Rather
Providing aid
Which my restless soul
Needs.
 
In
Seeking peace
And understanding
Of whom
I am.
 
Taking
A past of violence
Transforming it
Into love.
 
While
I may forgive
Will never
Forget.
 
Forgetting
Means denying
My past
That has hurt me
In doing so.
 
Instead
Must integrate
All my past
Together.
