One Of Those Days

One Of Those Days

A Poem by therisa
"

When self-doubt reigns.

"
There
Are days
Which this feeling
Consumes my soul.

As
A little voice
Tells me
"I am not worthy
Of anything."

Where
The littlest thing
Becomes
An almost impossible task
To do.

Know
This voice is
Lying to me.

But feel
So powerless
Against it.

Like
A small child
Asking a parent
For their permission.

When
None is
In needed.

Like
Today.

I like the simplicity; i would like to read some more description of the feeling.. maybe something more than a child asking for permission.. something more raw. I enjoyed reading :)
