Beneath Me
A Poem by therisa
My wanting to strike back at my mom, for her reactions, towards my transitioning, but holding back.
Sigh. Am Fighting this urge To lower myself To your level Of pettiness. By Using ignorance As a weapon In our war. Knowing How to hurt you As badly as You have done To me. Should It be decided I need to walk Down this path Of hate. But wait Who is the child And the adult Here?
