Just One Person's View

Just One Person's View

A Poem by therisa

In finding

A writing style

That lessen

How my learning disabilities

Affects my writing ability.

When

It was never meant

For you

In the first place.

Although

Nice for others

To appreciate

How far

I have travelled.

In

Overcoming

Some very personal

Barriers.

Which

Have isolated me

Within a cocoon

Of self-doubt

And self-hatred.

So

I take your words

With a grain of salt

For what it is

Worth.

Continuing on

With my healing

And my life

As before.

Reviews

there is a focussed determination in this poem which I appreciated, perhaps( and indeed hopefully) very cathatrtic for oneself, all the best
