The Hidden Shadow

The Hidden Shadow

A Poem by therisa
"

To Holly and her struggle.

"

M'lady

Why now?

Couldn't

You have waited

A few more years

Before your appearance?

I ask

Not for myself

But for someone else.

As for myself

When my time nigh

I embrace You

With open arms.

Knowing

Your job exist

To ease the pains

Of others.

Having experienced

Your caring touch

With several love ones

And friends.

Although

It doesn't lessen

The grief or anger

For the survivors.

As

They continue on

With their lives

Often filled

With unanswered

Questions.

words of beauty
I have not asked why or how...
I simply ask for my girls to carry on our traditions our ways
our ways-to walk in the shoes of others at all times
life is a gift but so are angels hold them close and sacred
this is so kind me lady so kind
I thank you now and always

Your welcome and thank you, Holly. Wish I could make things better for you, with one of my poem.
this poem has to be a comfort to Holly...it is so nicely, passionately written...

and yes, her poem is so sad...death is not biased...it goes after anyone at any age...and then we wonder, "Why that person, why now?"
