Anatomy Of One Victim
A Poem by therisa
My description, of how I became and what it is like, as a recovering PTSD survivor.
Tainted memories Lies accepted Truths unspoken Tormented soul. Struggling family Happy facade Increasing despair Disintegration. Mental barriers Suicide attempts Worsening isolation Fatalistic. Depression Denial Anxiety attacks Loner.

I am trying, Tammy, but it's hard to keep focus, at times.
