Truce
A Chapter by therisa
Struggling with depression.
Back and forth My mind goes Unable to focus On anything.
As if ADHD has swallowed me Whole Clothes and all.
Jumping From site to site Seeing but blind To the web page Before me.
My mind A huge etch-a-sketch Constantly shaken In all directions By invisible hands.
Just want it To stop For a few hours.
Enabling me A grace period For my body and soul To concentrate On one thing.
Life Without depression.

i too like the etch-a-sketch reference...
just to have a moment of peace, of quiet, of focus one thing...
really well written...
