A Street ViewA Poem by therisaWhat I saw, walking to my pharmacist.Walking down the street I see Misters Oak Maple and Beech Standing forlornly In their nudity. While their cousins Misses Cedar Pine and Spruce Standing splendidly In their green coats. At a local park City workers have Draped the trees With protective bales. Not sure Whether For the kids Or the trees Once sledding season starts. Can feel Jack Frost As he kisses Both of my cheeks With a gentle tingle To them. Reminding me Winter is Just around the corner.
