All too real
We deceive ourselves
Wanting to believe
The lie being told

As the truth
When it's not.

Burning

With the intensity

Of a white flame.

Consuming
What was once
A vibrant soul.

Leaving behind
A burnt out husk
By your words
And actions.

A fact
Am living with.

On a daily basis
Thanks to
Your abuse.
