Within
All of us
A hurting child
Exists.

Scared
To open up
Because
Of past experiences.

Yet
Hope remains.

Waiting for
That right person
To pierce through
Our defensive shell.

Thus speaks
The Queen
Of the Marathon.

Forever
On the run.
