A Chapter by therisa
Another writer's block poem.
Mentally I can hear My inner critic grumbling And laughing At my struggles.
As various ideas Slip through My mental fingers Like half-formed ideas Dead upon arrival.
If I could I would strangle My inner critic With joyful glee.
In silencing His voice Forever.
But It won't solve This writer's block I'm facing.
Once more Another frustrated sigh Escapes.
As I place My pen down For another night.

So many readers will be able to identify with your words in this one, Therisa. Writer's block happens to us all. The only thing to do is continue to jot down ideas. Eventually they will gel into a poem. Good one. Lydi**

Thank you, Lydia. This was my fourth attempt to get something down that made sense, to me.
