A single step taken
Just beyond 
Our comfort zone
Into Terra Incognita.

Coming to face
Our darkest fears

And worries.

In a manner
We're armoured

With the finest Kevlar

Money can buy.

Striding forward

With each step
Taken.

Knowing
A new and improved
Version of ourselves
Awaits us

Over the horizon.

Drawing forth

Our swords.

For the painful

But

Very necessary

Hand-to-hand combat

With our inner Daemons

And past injuries.

For those
Who are

Brave enough.

In testing their mettle

By Challenging
Themselves
As they heal.
