May Peace Find You
A Chapter by therisa
Please pardon me As I wipe away These tears Of anger sorrow And frustration From my face.
Knowing For many people You don't understand Why I'm grieving Over a lost teenage girl In Ohio.
Which The world viewed As being transgender.
But To me She'll always be A girl.
In spirit If not In body.
We didn't choose To be born This way It just happened.
As everyone assaults Leelah's parents For their religious beliefs.
Please remember They're burying a child Who died So tragically.
Personally I find their beliefs To be utterly repugnant And barbaric Without any quality Of redemption.
Only wish There wasn't Anymore parents Like the Alcorns.
But I know They do exist Just under the radar.
Fare thee well Leelah Alcorn My heart goes out To you.

Sometimes we feel such an affinity with those who have travelled along similar paths in life - it is the rare heart, the great heart, that feels they should write about them, exhalt their life.
And when we read about them, we also share in their trials.
thanks for this Therisa
god bless

Thank you, Anto. Thought, I had heal enough, to deal with a situation, like this. Apparently, not.
