Upon your shoulders
A proud woman
Does step forth

Into the world.

In claiming
Her rightful mantle
Before all.

In being
All things
To all people
In your life
And beyond.

While
Striding forward
With your own needs
And wants.

In helping
A stray soul
Like myself
To grow poetically

And more.

When others
Are too busy
With their focused
Needs.
