Healing powers of Squeak, Venus and Star, upon me.

A sad melodic song

Fills my heart

As I write this

On a scrap piece

Of paper.

Finding myself

Oddly

At peace

With myself

For a change.

Surrounded

By love

Of the most furry kind

Star Venus

And Squeak.

Chasing away

The day's anxieties

And fears

From me.

As we snuggle

Together

For our nightly sleep.
