I feel your tainted touch
Upon my soul
As your clawed hand
Rest on my right shoulder
Seeking to guide me
Down the dark pathway
Which you have emerged
From.

Laughing
Manically into my ears
As I attempt to fight off
Your unwanted advances.

A cold chill

Runs down my spine
As my resistance grows
Weaker by the minute.

Toying with my emotions
Like a cat
Or a bored child does
Before administering the final blow
Rendering me
Dead to the world.

Do not think
I cannot sense
Your sulfuric presence
In my life
Polluting everything
With your lingering odour.

But not today
Shall you claim your prize
Of my soul
For I refuse to surrender
Myself
Just yet.
