A Silent Thank You

A Silent Thank You

A Poem by Ioana Georgiana

Role models,
I have no other
Bigger than my mother.

So today she,
Should be praised
For the way I was raised.

I learned ways,
How to behave politely
Say please and thank you, smiling brightly.

I  do know,
She successfully instilled high morals
That taught me how to act in quarrels.

I am grateful,
For her unconditional love
A gift from above.

We argue sometimes,
I don't take any advice
And dismiss her daily sacrifice.

It is proven,
Motherhood is not easy
Although that might sound very cheesy.

In my eyes,
She's very brave
And I appreciate everything that she gave

To you, she
Might be a zero
But I found my personal hero.

amazing dedication to a mother... there is an innocence in the poem... there is no word in the world that can describe the contribution of a mother in her child's life.... a mother is truly an unsung hero of our life... hats off to you for such a sweet write....

Nice writing dear, there is no hero like a mother.

You are blessed to have a mother that taught you well. It is well known that we don't fully appreciate our parents until we become one ourselves.

Very well written.
