Warrior's Way

In finding one’s self you must explore the possibility of the unknown and see what is really out there.

In exploring you find that there are paths you must take to get where ever you want to go.

These paths may be joyous others harsh but in the end, in choosing your path results in the outcome of what is to be.

The future is not ‘set in stone’ it can be changed, but it is up to the person if
they want to change it.

Most people are afraid of change, or what the outcome of something might be.

But sometimes, when faced with a particular option we just have a gut feeling and go with it.

Others would weigh the both situations and then come to a conclusion.

So in finding one’s self you must take whatever is thrown at you and overcome it, choose wither or not to go down that road, and finally do what is right for you.

If you think it is a good decision and you feel happy then that is all that matters, because in the end it doesn’t matter what society or the populous may think of you…

It is what you think of yourself that matters the most.

You are in charge of your own destiny… not them.

Stop ‘second guessing’ everything that may come your way.

If you do that you’re ‘second guessing’ life itself.

Go out there and take some chances, make your own way and do it on your own terms, not what people may think.

If you have society run your life, or what people say then you have already lost the war.

Step up and become the warrior that you were born to be and take charge of your future.

For if  you don’t then who will.

This is something I like to call emotions on paper, or thoughts on paper. I have other ones I have written as well, but I thought that they were a bit too personal to put up online. This is my first attempt at trying to not only help myself, but other people as well through my writing. Tell me what you think.

I love the inspiration in this piece! You are right on the money by stating the fact that it does not matter what others think of you or what you do with your life. You write your own destiny... every page has it's own unique story and no one around you should change it. Well done with this write! I enjoyed it :)

This is a very inspirational poem with a positive message that is clear to the reader. You send that message out loud and clear!
I think we all have the 'warrior' in us somewhere, but it is up to us to step up and take control of our own destinies :)

This is a nice list of lessons.

You might consider crafting the longer lines down. Shorter, more direct statements will carry more power.

Also, there are some grammar errors, but nothing serious.

I really enjoyed this poem. I've had trouble thinking, No ones going to like anything I write so I should choose another career even though it is the path I'd like to go down. After reading this and the part where you say "Stop ‘second guessing’ everything that may come your way" and " in the end it doesn’t matter what society or the populous may think of you…" Really made me realize... who cares? People say my writing on here is good so i should stopo second guessing and just accept it. So, your poem just changed a life, I would say that's a darn good poem.
