how the thunder felt

how thounder felt

i sit here
listening to the thunder
and watching the rain drop fall
to the ground
and think of how i use to be just like
you

i put my hand on the glass to feel the
thunder
like i use too
i remember that night
when you held me tight
and we felt the thunder
your cold chest on my back.

how i wish i could be like you
again
in you sweet darkness
holding tight to me once more
me resting my head on your chest
to cry
you promising to keep me safe

how the sky would always seem red
after the storm
when i'm with you

how the rain drop seem to slow down
when i'm with you
in our rainy hour

how you use to hold me close
and graze your finger over my lips
then say everything's ganna be ok

o i wish to feel the thunder

Amunet_wound demonstrates strong writing skills with this poem of refined imagery. Though a little tough to wade through with the numerous misspellings or typo's and grammatical errors, this is still a fantastic read and can be ever more powerful once the wrinkles are ironed out. Despite that, great job and beautiful piece of literature....

I've read several of your poems, and I think you may have talent, although it is very difficult to read your stuff. It is so full of typos and misspellings! The reader has to work very hard to get to your meaning....and most will not take the time. I hope YOU will take the time to proof your work. I, for one, would like to watch you grow.
