Delusions

Delusions

A Poem by Jose Camacho

A heart and darkest feelings
Cradled the inner child;
The devil and his son.
Somethings were not meant to feel.

The broken had spoken;
A devil and his son.
Shredded smiles--Smiles not alive;
Will break you in the dark.

How many are invisible?
Pouring out their fear--
Fear to be at the crack
Or fear to be in the middle.

We, the boys and the chosen ,
We threatened the broken;
Destroyed them with a rhyme;
A devilish waltz.

Knickers of thorn remind her of
The sex of pearls and sin.
The pain into her loins reminds her;
The price of a concubine.

On a dance of winds,
I had a sinister eye.
In the morning at the break of dawn,
Harlots thirst for men's wine.

We made fools;
Pendulums.
The longer you look,
You'll see I am delusional.

Cry--Cry for men;
Cry for men's familiar voices
A pearl shows--
Shows the women that we are.

Lie for a diamond's life.
Too soon we all shall see--
See I am a dime
Whose worth is not so real.

Written on her arms,
We all gave a song.
She poured her blood
And soon I am red.

Her heart and darkest feelings
Cradled the inner child;
Delicate moans call--
Call the battle's end.

Our whispers dance in rhythm;
A devilish waltz.
The women become a diamond,
And the men caress our worth.
