Clarity

Clarity

A Poem by Jose Camacho

He calls with arms wide open
Blocks fracture his scars.
Who forewarns the colors
Sterilized with clarity?
I will hold on down
Spreading through the emptiness.
The colors cover up a devil--
Devil born within our flesh.
What is shouting beneath the sheets
Still alive from underneath?
Sterilized with clarity
It burns brighter than a beacon.
The heavens are mourning
A devil and his son.
Fallen through the dark
Killed under the precipice.
Still alive in our minds,
Who forewarns the colors
Sterilized with clarity?
The colors lost within ourselves.
