At All Cost
A Poem by

I gave her latitude,
took the higher
road.
Appeasement
never works.
She drank all
my whiskey
and stole my
parakeet.
The Romans bathed
naked in the
Tiber, and she
wins wars with
a smile.
Never mind the
casualties.

Very interesting Thomas the juxtapositions, suggesting complexities concealed beneath the surface. Excellent ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Thank you. Much appreciated.
It brings to mind a Cleopatra-esque figure. The original femme fatale.

Thanks for reading, Ana.
I like the reference to the Tiber which is a historical high point. From the poem I feel you liked her so much you didn't mind it at all. Nicely done. :)
