Her
A Poem by
Thomas W Case
Sometimes...
The dark dance calls softly, like Night Shade or Oleander. Just a little taste... Just one more slow waltz... I can smell her wet orchid while I sleep. She moves languidly through my dreams possess me at dawn with lambent steps. The love is violent, like a bullfight. It's sweet and treacherous, ferocious. Fatal for one of us. And she's been gored.

Wow! A very sensual write in this finely penned metaphoric gem, dear Thomas. Open to various interpretations, I agree with dear Relic. A little bit of magic through the poem nicely woven. Lovely work, dear friend! Thank you for sharing...

Most welcome always, dear Thomas...
This is certainly an erotic poem one could derive many things from. Well done, Thomas.

Thank you, kind sir.
Thomas, this is a mind-blowing read. It ripped my head away, in a good way. Its like an intense caffeine lift. I loved it!

Thank you. Very kind.
This one flows all the way through to the brutal end. Vivid and strong in its power. An explosion of rawness.

Thank you. So very kind.
Such raw and honest words, Thomas. Psyche and physicality working in harmony start to finish, sir!
'She moves languidly through
my dreams possess me at dawn
with lambent steps.'

Will find some of your spoken words at the weekend, when I can focus.
So this to speaks of having dreams of addiction. I have heard many people talk about “dope dreams” after they become sober and clean.
