The words and lines aren't coming today. I lie down for a nap. I dreamt of metaphors and similes. I woke up. The years swim away like bass at spawning time.

Yes a nap in the middle of the day can clear the mind wonderfully - some people in the alternative community refer to these as 'power sleeps'. You only need 20 minutes and it can change yr whole perspective. Really Excellent Thomas ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Power naps. Cats are mostly known for them, but I find them most beneficial in my days of early rising. Your closing line delivers quite a punch, Thomas. Much enjoyed this one!
