I cuddled up with a metaphor that was caught in the corner of my room. I dressed it in the silk of kings, and fed it from the fractured trees of innocence. Low-hanging fruit of despair gets us every time.

Oh my!! I love the way you write, I truly admire! I feel inspired and envied, but it's impossible for me to think like you. If you saw my reactions while reading your poems, you would think I was a one-man theater actor! but I'm just a fan, promise! What writing skills!

There’s a quiet elegance in this piece — the way despair and tenderness mingle, as if the poet is nurturing pain into beauty. The imagery of silk and broken trees feels ancient and intimate, like tending a wound that still glows. It reminds me of fleeting moments of balance between loss and luck, much like the fragile thrill found at https://pinco-kz-casino.com, where chaos briefly becomes art.

I just saved this in my Favorites library. It’s a lovely poem with great inventive use of language, “low hanging fruit of despair” indeed. This feels quite different from your usual work, not better, just different.
Very interesting work Thomas, and more miniaturist than is usual for you. I particularly like 'low-hanging fruit', the phrase has a nice ring to it. Really Excellent ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
