I can relate Thomas, to your lovely poem of self awareness.
Very few of us have trained our minds. Years and years ago, working with a Sufi guide, I made some progress in that area but now, I am sorry to report, my mind has fallen back into “buzzing” unease and disarray. Unfortunately alcohol quiets my mind.

This poem perfectly captures the frantic hum of modern minds — that endless motion we mistake for meaning. The humor softens the truth, but it still stings. I’ve felt that same restlessness, needing distraction just to breathe. Sometimes I quiet it with small escapes, like a few light games at https://uz-pincocasino.com/ — tiny moments of calm in the noise.
