the lost years

Thoughts for the world
Sitting all alone ....
Darkness forbearing -
Life not in control.
A past small but haunting
Keeps taking it's toll -
Can't carry the burden
Too small for the role ...
Hell is a dream now
That life has surpassed,
The feeling of loneliness,
Despite the crowd amassed.
I have grown too early ...
Am still too young for the task;
But whence did time go slowly
Even the dawn seems dusk.

I like this, it seems to talk about the years of our lives that we loose, because of our lack of awareness in whats truly important around us. Time is limited in the way god created our physical forms, and as time marches on all the time... We loose so much if we don't keep up with all that we must do!
