False Hope

Words can't express the feeling of hoping 

And then realizing maybe it was all for nothing 

Wonder, and wonder, as the feeling fall under

Wondering if they will change or if they'll remain the same

Lost in time where it begins to feel like an endless circle or rewind

Reminder after reminder, hiding the questions of concern so deep under

Lost in time, hoping maybe one day it will all shine

Shine again where maybe we dont have to pretend

Maybe cover all the questions, and think there was no expectations

Maybe they were met, or maybe they were lost and kept being unsent

Unsent to hoping once again, to another phase of pretend

Rewinding time backwards into the old 

Hoping things once again dont unfold

Unfold where that version has to come back and pick up the pieces that remained broken through the crack

The crack that was slowly expanding and consistently growing

The repetition to the situation that was full of more expectations

Expectations that were not met

Or maybe it was just all in the dent

Not sure what exactly to say

The more time goes by, it feels different everyday 

Less eye to eye

More of realizing what was in deny

The reality and the truth 

Just allowed the actions to be proof

The actions of the words of false hope

To realizing once again its a nope

A nope of nothing being truly done 

A nope of a temporary fun

But truth is, it's a cycle

A cycle of what has not been done

What was chosen to then realizing maybe you aren't the one.
