What is Love?

What is love? 

Is it caring for somebody unconditionally?

Or something more along the lines of a burning passion like the fires raging in the forests? 

Is it uncertain and uncharted like the world in 1882? 

Or does it come with step-by-step instructions? 

Is it deep and endless like the depths of the universe? 

Or is it shallow like a lake during a drought? 

If we neglect it, does it die away? 

Or is it everlasting like the fruitcake in the back of the pantry? 

Is it just chemicals released the brain? 

Or is love something real? 

More importantly, why is love thrown around like it's nothing 

Yet we expect others to be loyal to it?
