Oh precious time, why do you defy me, 
why do you insist on running out on me? 
Oh precious life, why do you defy me, 
why do you insist on letting go of me? 
Oh senseless stress, why do you defy me, 
why do you insist on breaking the ice? 
Oh senseless death, why do you defy me, 
why do you insist on suffocating me? 

How precious time, 
how precious life, 
how senseless stress, 
how senseless death
