Forgiven But no forgottenA Poem by Mauricio Montoya
How can time place me in the hood of a bus stop,
As the snow falls around me, yet I know, Its cold but my stage as I wait all is gone. Never forgotten but hopefully remembered, Not step up on a soap box and speak But to.leave to my journey in warm feelings Knowing the ice will melt and the sun will shine again Can the son save me before I see the light As I go in an ever never ending sleep Is there ever lasting life, they say For to say good bye is enable And leaving is painful, but hope Tells me have faith Because you'll never be, Forgotten. © 2025 Mauricio MontoyaFeatured Review
