RECRUDESCE

there are no absolutes
      no black no white
i live in world of gray
         shades and tints
i stand alone
        there are absolutes
shades and tints
and gray can be a monochromatic color scheme
recrudescing
           in a monochrome of red
wounds as vivid as memories
              scars from my daze of puglism
the red deep dark bloodlike
           there are no absolutes in red
the heart still pumps
            as memories fade
to blue
             i to can sing a monochrome of blue
as in MOODY"S mood for love
      i can sing a wavelength between 450 and 500 nm of blue
i can drown in a blue so deep
              the fish have lights to attract
their mates and dinner
there are no absolutes
