I feel ready~ I feel ready to lay in the light that shines through the window of your soul. I feel ready to know your name and know the way you say things the way you say them. The way your teeth glow when you grin, the dimple that rest in the cleft of your chin I feel ready to serve and honor you. Ready to acknowledge the beauty in your soul To unwrap the Gift that God created for me in you. To watch you unfold. I feel ready to hold your hand through it all... Ready to catch you before you fall Unless of course it is you falling into me Falling into love with me I am ready ... Ready to kiss your lips and know that God exists when I see Him in your eyes and hear Him in your words... I am ready to love you selfishly and selflessly. I am ready to give you the best of me and the rest of me And all that is in between Let me be your peach and drink my nectar You are my king . Striking to say the least. Others might say that in here you have helped sum up what love truly is. Certainly very strong, very giving...predominantly giving, but not utterly. I'm a believer in harmony...unity, over equality. But I can only say that now with better understanding after my own hapless romantic had his carefree stint and now must recognize his new abode in an iron box.

He would have said you took the words right out of his mouth.

Such a beautiful, beautiful piece of poetry. There are some standout lines you have here (as usual); but I'd have to say that this really brings it all together:

"So I am simply stating
Until your appearance I will be waiting
waiting to call you Husband.
I am ready.
Ready to submit and give up life
as I know it
to be called your Wife."

There's something in this that I haven't seen in you, previously. It sounds so much more passionate than normal. I'm feeling this piece. These could definitely be a part of vows. Wow.
