GREEN LEMON

...transcendentalism...

tiny stem towards the sky
with great spunky spiny thorns
has built the courage of
scented leaves
his upward dream
of rapid growth
seems so honorable
that even storms and thunders
hardened his soul
gleam the spines when
sunlight strike
behold the armor of
this warrior plant.
