PURPLE PROMISEA Poem by shunik3.17.17Morning, it is not well to proclaim such cursed lines. I’d rather curve sweet lies to gaze your smiles. It is an ill-will to state such crypt of the past slowly luring my thoughts; thoughts that might grudge me in my sleep, sipping my soul to forget and unable to reminisce every little bit of memory we used to mold together. No words could exactly outburst that throbbing hole inside of me; that same hole I use to fill with lies, make-belief, cover-up memories and false hopes. I am widely aware of the individual suffering each of us may carry, but mine is too heavy, grievously uncontainable to such high degree no man could ever carry. ‘guess you don’t have the slightest idea if where these words might come from, to describe such angst surrealistic thoughts you are widely aware of. To tell the world of how a man could reach a once-dream into a reality can never be an achievement, for fame can always be forgotten, but those little learnings shall always remain. I was asking the Almighty if you could catch that, for you to as well achieve such understanding for other human beings like yourself. It is indeed nonsense to narrate them one by one, for every word may mean differently and each passing night may always be a glittering gold to a night-believer. Merely, staring at your old ways leaves a disgust manifestation of what once and what will be; such cruel mind shall still find peace and each ended life shall forever reborn, the same old ways of loving to coincide with what the heart truly dreamed of; to be enlightened and be doomed all at the same time. © 2017 shunikReviews
