You would think I could forget, wouldn't you?

Lying awake

Thinking of the mistakes I've made

And the ones I will make

All so vivid and not about to fade

Feeling sick

Trying so hard to forget

And good memories to pick

From this fear-inflicting net

I figured most people can. It's not odd that when we finally have a chance to relax we just let our brewed thoughts flow. Human nature...it sucks

Yeah it takes effort to not dwell on things we can't change. We can instead use it as time of reflection and sort of therapeutically debrief from situations if we accept things and decide to move on.
