Autumn Alliteration

The most emotional colour, is it not?

My favourite colour is October.

Crisp, yellow leaves, melodically crunching underfoot.

Hot lattes that whisper warmth to the soul.

Rosy cheeks and frosty fingertips that beg for the warmth of your hands.

The quiet breath of clouds overhead.

Sleeves pulled over cold hands which only meet the frigid air to turn the page of a well-loved book.

Muted murmurs as our white breath mingles visibly in the brisk sky.

Autumn is my favourite colour.

Author's Note

In the event of my favourite season, I must write an ode to Autumn.
